New City Kings add The Great Escape show to their UK tour in May

Currently one third of the way through their with McBusted playing arenas across the UK, the New City Kings are happy to announce that they will be playing Europe’s leading festival for new music, The Great Escape. The date of May 16th will round off their UK tour that was announced recently and will see them headline venues across the country. The Essex rock trio, consisting of vocalist and guitarist brothers Mark & Ben Kovic and drummer Ben Nyari, will be scaling it back for some more intimate shows heading to the start of summer, but will still be delivering a stadium sized performance as usual.A perfect fit for The Great Escape, New City Kings are hotly tipped to have a great year in 2015, and they’ve already started off with a bang, winning over the crowds of thousands on the McBusted tour has seen their following spike. It’s come as no surprise, however, that the band has been received so well since their fiery live show and set list of compellingly catchy songs is unquestionable. In the short time since releasing their debut EP in 2013 New City Kings have proven to be one of the most innovative young rock bands around today and have made an impact on both sides of the Atlantic, earning them their loyal following and industry recognition.  For The Great Escape, New City Kings will be playing alongside Lawson and K.
